practical exercises and a final project, this course builds real-world CAD skills and design thinking for
mechanical and product engineering.
2. Course Learning Outcome
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Master 2D Sketching Tools
2. Build 3D Features with Confidence
3. Apply Advanced Sketch Tools
4. Utilize Reference Geometry
5. Design Functional Assemblies
6. Create Technical Drawings
7. Complete Realistic Engineering Exercises
8. Apply Engineering Thinking to Modeling
9. Prepare for Advanced Topics & Certification (CSWA)
10. Receive a Completion Certificate
3. Detailed Lesson Index
4. Homework & Final Test
Each major lesson includes a practical assignment or modeling exercise. These tasks are designed to reinforce
the skills taught and mimic real-world mechanical design scenarios.
